Hi Everybody,

Im currently a first year at Sacramento State, but im planning on dropping out and going to a CC for a year to be TAG eligible. I was wondering, since the UC admissions states that

"Courses that further the student's knowledge and understanding in fundamental liberal arts disciplines such as mathematics, natural science, literature, social sciences, fine arts and philosophy, are acceptable for transfer if comparable in scope and depth to those offered at UC."

Ive taken a class (pop culture) that is considered a "critical thinking(1-B)" class at Sac State, which fills out a requirement for the CALGETC and(if im not wrong) 1/2 English Composition in their basic requirements to apply. If, for some reason, this class does not transfer under the "critical thinking" title, is there a chance my application can get rescinded? I plan on asking an actual admissions officer this, but what I've got from UCI Admissions from an email,

"Unfortunately we do not conduct pre-reviews of courses in the admissions process. We determine UC transferability in the evaluation process once you submit a UC application to our campus."

I just want to know your thoughts, the main thing is I do not want to go over 80 credits(im planning on taking 71 as of now) or else I will not be TAG eligible.

Thanks!
