This is my first ever Reddit question so take it easy on me. I have been reading posts in this forum for the past 18 months and it seems like there are some pretty knowledgeable folks that share answers and guidance to others and I am hoping those same people can help guide me in the right direction. I have 9 separate loans remaining which total approximately 39k which is now managed by Mohela. I just reach 120 payments on loan 1, 118 payments on loans 2-7, 106 payments on loan 8, and 86 on loan 9. This may sound like I am "sitting pretty" except I was recently informed that I do not qualify for PSLF/TPSLF because I am not in a qualifying repayment plan and the review indicated that my payments were less than they would have been on the IDR. I have not paid much attention to my student loan payments over the years - I just set it on automatic payment and forgot about it and recently discovered that apparently I have been in a graduated repayment plan which was selected (with assistance from someone at student aid) back in 2012. I have since applied to enroll in an IDR plan and I am waiting to hear back on acceptance for this. I am not sure if anyone has any advanced knowledge on situations like this but I am hoping that my payment counts don't restart at 0 because I as in the wrong payment plan and I need guidance/recommendations on what I should be doing next to get me on the right track and have a better understanding of what to expect moving forward.
