I already posted here a week ago asking about ISO & shutter speed dilemma.

Yesterday I went to the same place for another performance to test the approach and tips you recommended me, and the results are immensely better. I used 1/800 shutter speed with f6.3 and ISO 10000, finished with Lightroom AI denoise. Using a wall as a support and holding the front of the lens instead of the base is also really helpful for reducing the shaking. Huge thanks to everyone who replied, I really appreciate it!
( I might still experiment with post processing, but the sharpness is there, which is the most important )
Hi, so I was shooting a performance of Guangdong opera last night, and although there were lights on stage, I had to set ISO to 4000 for this image. It was shoot at 300 mm on APS-C Sony a6100. Because I thought ISO was already pretty high, I turned the shutter speed down to 1/125. When I was there, the image on the camera screen seemed clear enough, but now I see that it’s not sharp at all. I would love to hear some advice on what is a better approach for low light: maintain high shutter speeds (1/400 for this shot probably), or maintaining low ISO?
