I picked up a model C Deadlock locally for cheap because it was in pretty beat up condition so instead of trying to restore it or sending it back to Hawk just to make it look like my two other aluminum Deadlock’s I decided to do a custom Boba Fett themed Cerakote. I figured the existing wear and tear and the future wear and tear would give this piece even more character. I also had an aluminum case laying around so that got done up too to store it and display it when not in use.
