Photos of legs, hinge, flap with hinge cavities, and flap width/thickness

I am located in the Buffalo area. Recently I acquired a Martha Washington cabinet. One of the hinges disintegrated when I removed the flap. In looking online for the hinge, I believe I need a Soss invisible hinge. Is that correct? In locating this info, frequent cautions were given to measure very carefully, but I didn't really see what measurement is important. So my main question is what to measure. Is it the width/thickness of the flap? (1/2") Do I measure the size of the cavity for the hinge? I see the local Rockler store will have these hinges in various sizes back in stock in 10 days, and I see some advertised online. Is it tricky to get them to close properly? Any advice there? Should I replace all four hinges?

Another question is regarding the legs. Most of the cabinets I see around here do not have fluted legs. Does this give any insight into its age or manufacturer? There were no labels or tags affixed. The number 245 is pressed into the wood on the bottom of one of the cross pieces. In one of the drawers there was an envelope with a small, round metal 'Kittinger' tab. I don't know for sure, but I don't think Kittinger made these cabinets. I didn't post a photo of the cabinet.. has the typical three drawers, one drawer has its tray insert. The drawers have wooden knobs.

Thanks for any info you can provide, not sure if I have posted this in the best spot.
