Creating your own ACEO from your hand painted or drawn or collaged (well any way you made it really!) art card is free and each one has its own card number and edition number for authentication included…

This is one of the things I forgot to mention about artistcards.io... there is so much on offer and I forget sometimes what they all are! This is an important one though for various reasons, not to mention you can keep your original art card then for your portfolio, or sell it as an original artist trading card or artwork if you wish to.
You can create from an artwork scan or even a clear photograph.

I want to thank the grace and patience of …

… the people who visited and joined artistcards.io, which after three days of being live has had seemingly every glitch possible with Stripe and its accepted countries (finally sorted), information added so that you can easily see how it all works, the free printing files now download perfectly, and more! I really appreciate the people who helped me find those glitches, and worked through it with grace and good humour. We got there!

Everything is up and working glitch free plus it is much more easy to understand. You'll probably need ten minutes or so to see everything it offers. Do come and see what's here, I think you'll find it a useful and fun place to be, focussing on the whole art experience as well as the art:)

Online Galleries and studio shops info

A few people have indicated real interest, and several more have joined which great! artistcards.io is brand new and only opened a few days ago. Here is the detailed info.

In each artists gallery there are two sections, the front end and the studio shop.

From the studio shop you can sell any existing ACEOs you may have in stock, OOAK artwork, past featured Original Artists Cards, Authenticated Interactive Collectable Art Cards ( they are provided free of charge by the site ), stickers, bags with your artwork on them… anything that features your own artwork.

Front of house of your gallery features the current months ACEO/s and their matching Interactive Collectors Art Cards. These ‘drop’ on the 1st of each month creating a brand new collection.

(The site creates the matching Interactive Collectors Art Cards for free using info you put in as you work through the card wizard. You can add things and change anything you want from your creator studio.)

An artist may have as many ACEOs and their matching Interactive Collectors Cards drop on the first of each month as they wish.

Note you need not list them on the first of the month, they are created prior and the site will drop them automatically into your gallery front of house.

NOTE: visitors who visit and love your work can also subscribe to your gallery. You set the price for this. On drop day, subscribers receive all of the Interactive Collectors Cards that may exist that month, for free. Of course you are able to price these items for ppl to purchase who are not subscribers, again, you set the price. It is recommended you set some other freebies with these to keep your subscribers interested, for example, actual ACEO discounts, a freebie from your studio shop, etc. Monthly drops are a great way to build your client base loyalty.

There is so much more to explore on this site, everything aimed at making ACEOs more fun, and accessible.

Hi everyone! I am an art lover and artist from way back. I love all things art and especially love art cards. Artists seem freer when making them, it’s like getting a glimpse of an artists truly own style.

Main reason I’m here apart from loving all this beautiful ART! Is I have created something I think we can all use. You can create, sell, swap (and purchase) beautifully printed ATCs and Art Card Editions.

If you don’t know how to create a printed card of your art then the site will create professional print ready files for you, made to the internationally accepted size of art cards (so they will fit into collectors plastic protectors and binders). Or you can print them at home.

It also automatically creates official interactive Collectors Cards for you, which can include all sorts of QR code linked goodies like an artist (you) talking about your art, maybe a sound track of your studio as you work, music, videos, even a 3d tool that makes your artwork appear in the card owners own environment! Artists don’t need to include this interactivity, but it can add value to an art trading card. These are also the generally accepted art trading card size.

You get your own gallery / store , set your own prices and it’s all free to set up! Everything is simple to use with multiple access points to create your cards as well as wizards to guide you through step by step.

Oh and of course you can sell or trade your one of a kind art cards in your gallery shop too!

There are so many features. ppl can purchase individual items or subscribe to your gallery and to take any stress out of it you only need to list one art card per month. It doesn’t even have to be for sale but it can be. No cost to list.

The interactive Collectors Cards are all generated automatically when you upload a photo or scan or digital file. Subscribers automatically receive these collectors cards each month. (They also receive two more for free). No cost to you.

Of course others can buy the interactive collectors cards individually from your gallery. But they don’t get the other things associated with being a subscriber of your gallery.

This is soooo long. Sorry. But it is well worth having a look at https://artistcards.io . There are heaps more things I’ve built in. The site is beautiful and the gallery admin, onboarding wizards and other things are elegant and easy to follow.

This has definitely been a labour of love!

Hi everyone! I have just completed making a super easy to use artist card series and artist cards editions creator . I wanted to make something for people who are just getting started with , or who already love creating art… I’ve always thought we express ourselves so much more freely in the small size in terms of our own art style etc.

You can make as many as you like and they are printed onto ecofriendly paper made from plants. Or you can print them once you’ve made them for free on your own home printer, or export a pro printers pack and take your print ready files wherever you want to print them professionally.

I haven’t got the me printing them for you prices up,but honestly with shipping I reckon it’s best to go with one of the other options I’ve mentioned above if you’d like to try it.

It has all sorts of things you can do to add to the aceo experience! Like adding QR codes that link to your website, or sound, music etc so you buyers can explore further and experience more. Each card also has its own edition number - very tiny - which is great for card authentication .

You can even add holographic effects etc if you that way inclined (game cards etc)

Hopefully it will encourage more people to enjoy their creativity, having fun and collaborating along the way !
