Who all from Drill or before came from which Projects?
Chicago had the most dangerous, WILDEST projects from the 50's-2007 or so.
Most people associated with mainstream drill came from the Calumet Ave Building, or Oblock (Bruh Bruh) which was 1 of 3 towers down that far south. People like Edai, Cdai, Lil Reese, 051 Melly, Jmayne, etc.
The Cha-Cha slide even came from $ from the Calumet Building. MOB Records. I wonder if OTF & MOB Records were both essentially Big Varney.
I know Beanie Siegal even knew Fredo Santana and Sosa as kids. Someone said Fredo was from Parkway originally?
Anyhow, i feel like a ton of sets had little known relationships with others that were shaped by guys they grew up with in the Projects bein dispersed elsewhere.
I find the project origin fascinating.
Cabrin-Green had THF Bayzoo, Bitedown, Polo G's parents, Fuji Mollati, etc.
Robert Taylors had Lil Zay Osama, Memo600
Ida B's/Madden had FBG Duck (His mom said she saw Eric Morse's fall) FBG Brick, R. Kelly, DWadeFromOBN
Ickies - L.E.P. Bogus Boys?
Stateway - They were empty a whole decade before bein torn down, so its hard to find former residents, but 1 guy said he lived in the Taylors and everyone HATED going to Stateway. Another said he wasnt a GD, but a DELL VIKING (For White people, he aint mean the 50's singing group).
