Slap in the face on Teacher Appreciation. We teach the whole school but we couldn't participate in a massage. At least give me the option to say yes or no.
I teach at a school and there are basically no consequences for student behavior. Kids can start fights, throw pencils or books at teachers, and nothing happens. When I ask why, I’m told the student has a lot going on at home.
Had a fight in my class and the two students were eating in the cafe together laughing. I mean throwing hands. Head locks were involved. These are the boys - third fight. They were able to buy ice cream even after all this from the cafe the same day.
I am burned to the max and I'm an electives teacher. Thankfully I haven't been hit with a book this year. I want to leave this school.
