I’m looking for a music video that I saw on YouTube around 2016. It felt like a "radio rock" or alternative rock from the 2008–2014 era

Here are the specific, vivid details I remember:

  • The Story: It’s a narrative "mini-movie" style video with no performance footage of the band (or very little).
  • The Kid: A young boy is the main character. He is seen pretending to be a hero, wearing a towel or a blanket as a cape.
  • The Conflict: The dad is portrayed as "hard" or stern, maybe distant. The plot revolves around the mom getting sick and eventually passing away.
  • The "Vibe": It used a lot of "flashback" or "home movie" style grainy footage to contrast the happy memories with the sad, present-day reality of the mother's illness.
  • The Music: i remember the video more than the actually music. As most likely alternative rock. Not big name that i could recall.

I have ruled out the most famous ones like Simple Plan's "Untitled" or The Used. Any help finding this would be huge!
