Need help in deciding?

I have received a verbal offer from a company I have always dreamed of working for, and I expect to receive the official offer in 1–2 days, with a joining date of 25th May.

If I decide to leave on Day 2 or Day 3, what’s the better approach :

  • Should I formally send a resignation email to my manager, or
  • Is absconding common in such early-stage situations?

Will the notice period still apply if I leave within the first few days?

What’s the best way to handle this?

FYI: I have only attended the induction program so far; Haven't met my manager in person

If I ask the second company to change the joining date, it will take more time to release the offer as the approval process will need to go through again.

Hey everyone,

Has anyone received an offer letter from eBay for the 12th April F2F drive? If yes, what was your timeline like?

Also, could you share insights about the CBE (Core Buyer Experience) team in terms of work-life balance, culture, etc., if you’re aware?
