This is a painful and controversial question, and I understand that some may find it offensive. But it raises a difficult question: at what point should we ask whether Islamic civilization, at least in its current political and moral condition, has failed? Muslim-majority nations have fought multiple wars against Israel and lost. Today, many people are watching Palestinians suffer and die in real time, including children, while much of the Islamic world appears unable or unwilling to respond meaningfully. If a civilization cannot protect its people, defend human dignity, or confront such suffering with anything beyond outrage and symbolism, then its condition deserves serious reflection and criticism. What do you guys think?
