This battle is one of the best I've seen in Dragon Ball. The bad thing is that Goku lost because he used up too much Ki.

I don't understand how Goku managed to survive in space. Saiyans always travel in their ships and can't survive (except for freezer, which can survive in space).

Furthermore, the same thing happens with Bardock when he went into space to face Frieza and his soldiers.
