Lighting for kitchen

Lighting for kitchen

Any advice or feedback would be great. I am designing my own kitchen. The drawing says 4” recessed fixtures but I think 3” might work (lumens-wise).

Is this too much lighting?

I want dim to warm, anti-glare, and I think I want gimbal. And TRIAC dimming (?)

Will these work?

Recessed gimbal light fixtures in kitchen

My kitchen has 96” high ceilings and 36” countertops.

If I use recessed gimbal light fixtures in my kitchen, can I place them farther from countertop edge (and angle the light toward it) or will that create bad shadows (or glare, etc.)?
