In the process of a remodel and the master shower and ceiling (this is an angled ceiling because of the roof trusses) are not plumb. Over the first 6 feet it’s out of plumb by 3/4 inch. We are using the large 24x48 tiles on a 8 foot walls. Contractor thinks cutting that large tile will be too difficult to make it look good and thinks it would be better to maybe leave a 2 inch or so gap between the top tile and the ceiling. There is also a molding as well. The photo shows the wall in question. The tile will go all the way from left to right (red line). I would like to hear peoples thoughts on this and how you would handle the tile placement and cuts.
