Hi everyone! I’m an incoming PhD student at UChicago this Fall and will be living in Hyde Park without a car. I dance salsa on2 and have been dancing for less than a year.

I know about UChicago Ballroom & Latin Dance Association (BLDA), but they don’t seem to do much salsa, so I was wondering if there are any recommended salsa classes or socials near Hyde Park or downtown. A lot of the on2 places I found seem pretty far north, so I’d especially appreciate places that are easy to get to by public transportation.
