Hello, I’m buying a 200×80×30 cm bookshelf, it will be fully painted in white and used in a normal room. No IKEA in my country so I went to a local carpenter. He suggests either:
- Solid wood, but it's going to be joined planks (20cm + 10cm) so I'm worried about visible seams especially in the long run
- MDF, but I'm worried about health safety since I can’t verify if it's E1 certified in my country
Maybe I'm overthinking it, but I'd like to hear your thoughts to help me decide better.
