Earlier this month I posted an analysis of Hand of Midas that used over 38,000 ranked replays and several ML models to recommend when Midas is actually worth buying.

The top comment I got was that people are compelled to know the real stats about Divine Rapier, because Dotabuff only tracks end-of-game stats it shows Rapier has an 85% win rate -- which is obviously not quite right.

So I spent a few weeks building up more replays on the current subpatches and doing a detailed analysis of Rapier's impact in pub games. When does it increase win expectancy, when does it decrease it, how much damage does it contribute, and which heroes really benefit from it.

I humbly submit these findings for your consideration.
