Hi everyone,

I’m using Safari on macOS and I work with multiple Safari Profiles, for example for different projects or contexts.

What I’m trying to achieve is this:

When I close a Safari Profile window using the red close button, I would like Safari to remember all open tabs in that specific profile. Later, when I open that profile again, I’d like the same tabs to be restored.

At the moment, when I close the profile window, all tabs seem to be gone. I know Safari can restore windows from the last session when quitting the whole app, and I also know about “Reopen Last Closed Window”, but that’s not quite the same workflow.

Ideally, each Safari Profile would behave a bit like a persistent workspace, where the tabs remain saved even if I close the profile window.

Is this possible with Safari’s current Profile feature?

I’d be interested to hear how others manage Safari Profiles, tabs, and workspaces on macOS.

Thanks!
