First parity disk installed
Just completed a rework of my setup. Removed the old mismatched SATA drives totaling 10TB and replaced with 6 matching 4TB SAS drives off eBay. These were def a cheaper alternative to SATA, did have to buy a 9300-8i but over all still cheaper. Last update was moving the boot to the internal 16GB Intel Optane drive and pushing the license to TPM. Feels much more robust not using the USB to boot :-). Never ran with parity to give me more space since one of my disks was 8TB, decided to go for cheaper disks to then use 1 as parity.
