Wow. I just gotta say wow. Im in love.
First up yes its not "finished" finished. Taking a lil break from the weapons for now. Havent even nipped off that bit on the axe yet hahaaa. But my excitement cannot be contained to finally fully assemble this guy. And yes i did add my own little touches to em like a few bits of gold here n there.
My prior experience with building model kits has been 3 Witch From Mercury HGs [aerial, darilbalde and my favourite boi demi trainer] and a 30 minute sister. So building an MG for the first time as my 5th ever kit was a genuine joy.
I loved every single second of the build! Total time it took was roughly 5 days worth of time spent building. I weathered as i went so it definetely took me painstaking hours to see the kit in its completion but it was SOOOOO Worth it.
I must admit for my first time weathering outside of just simple panel lining i'm real proud of the results. Lots of firsts!
I do plan on weathering the weapons after i figure out decals and have abit more time. Gonna paint that heat hawk mmmmm.
Thank you to my friend who suggested i start off MG with this kit. You were right i did enjoy it.
Do you guys have any pointers? Tips? Im open to critiques as again this is my first time weathering and building an MG.
My tools consist of: silver gundam marker, sakura silver pen, toyo gold paint marker, flysea pink metallic marker, qtips and a leto mettallic gloss marker for chrome bits.
Bonus: i started building my boi together with a club i founded in my college. We now get together weekly to build kits. We have a meeting today! Here's a picture of all our kits as we build and chat together for a full day.
