give and take
Yesterday I was suppose to see my friend but she had to cancel plans because she lost the key to her steering wheel lock. I told her I can come get her and drive her home (both where she was and her house is 15 or less minutes) she said she can just get an uber and she doesnt want to ruin my night. I told her its no worries please let me help you out. But once again she said she didnt want to be a burden. Honestly that really hurt my feelings. She never lets me help her out when she needs it - even when its something as simple as holding a bag for her. But in return she wont take no for an answer when it comes to helping me with something. Its just giving a weird balance to the friendship.
Is it wrong my feelings are hurt and that this is really bothering me or am I making something out of nothing?
