Other opinions?

Sorry for the long post- i’m a bit lost here and need some extra opinions.

5yr FS GSD, UTD on vaccines no past pertinent history.

About 2 months ago she started limping on the front right, nothing major unless walking long distances then she wouldn’t bear weight. I brought her in and had x-rays done my primary didn’t see anything but sent them to an ortho friend who saw a small lesion. the ortho recommended rest, NSAIDS, and recheck x-rays in 4-6 weeks.

4 weeks later we retook x-rays. my dog is getting much worse, unable to walk 50+ feet without limping at this point, cannot jump or play without crying. lesion is very obviously bigger. sent off for a radiologist opinion and sent to ortho. Both agreed it may be a RUIN lesion. Biopsy would be the best next step.

Called around and found an open appointment for 3 days later for a consult for a biopsy. Went to the appointment and scheduled a full body CT and FNA for 2 days later. Results take 5 days to come back, which is today. I just got off the phone with the doctor.

FNA showed no cancerous, fungal, or infectious cells.

CT was normal other than the right forelimb- which showed mineralizing enthesopathy of the interosseous ligament as well as some lysis.

The doctor went on to say she had never heard of this and could only find one case study on it where the dog had major complications so she could not recommend a treatment plan.

Have any of you heard of, seen, or treated this? Any recommendations? Do i get another opinion?
