Should I tell my parents that I'm a Hellenic polytheist?
Should I tell my parents that I'm a Hellenic polytheist? Im questioning if I should tell my parents if I'm a hellenist. On one hand I want to be able to practice my belief in the gods more freely but on the other hand I don't know if they will react well. They are both Christian and have been raising me and my siblings up as luthers. I believe my mom grew up Luther and my dad might have grown up catholic. I have an older brother who told them he was a atheist a while back and it caused quite a stir from my dad manly but both my parents seem to be more chill about it now. I'm scared that if I tell my parents it might create even more of a stir. I really want to tell them though so I can be more open about my religion and practice more freely. I'm thinking of writing my mom a letter to tell her. Any thoughts, questions or concerns. Please help me figure out what to do.
