Hello everyone,
Looking for some advice on my 6 month old Shiba with potty training. I do give her chicken and praise when she potties outside but, I can't get her to tell me to go potty outside when were inside.
I do want to preface that its also partially my fault because when we first got her, I would put her in diapers and did train her on a peed pad as well. since we lived in an apartment and were living in a high dog populace area so we didn't want to risk her Going outside.
Now She does pretty well overall holding her pee when were away, (usually 3-4hours) but I do take her out immediately after coming back. but I am still having the issue with her not telling me she has to go use the bathroom and kinda just pees in our living room. I do pick her up and stop her and take her outside to finish and after I clean accidents with enzymatic cleaners.
Any advice would be helpful 🙂 TIA.
