Sorry if this is off topic, but we just entered the dreaded CCLI reporting phase of the year where we have to manually report every song we do. I know for public domain songs, you don't have to report them, and it even says, 'this song is public domain' if you try, but all of the public domain hymns have different 'versions' that are just the song sung by someone else. Is there any reason not to select one of these other people so they can get a little payout, if it's the same song - rather than not reporting it?
