$471k Balance working 2 hybrid jobs and wife has one job
Hey peeps, first time homebuyer in TX. All incomes combined we bring in ~11k a month gross. 27M bringing in 80% with 2 hybrid jobs. Monthly statement is $4,300, got approved during day 1 of attack on Iran and interest shot up from 6.7 to 7.2%. Really need opinions on how viable 2 hybrid jobs is - started this 3 years ago (not as stressful since crunch-times are at different time of the month) but is this viable long term? Started it to pay debt down then got used to the amount of money flowing in, now I’m not sure if it’s even possible long term. Wife 28F started late in her career but now has a aster’s in Health Admin for better career jumps, but I always have a fear of getting fired from either and losing income -> losing home -> wife -> depression. Am I good? Both my incomes are relatively the same $74k , 10% bonus payout on both, wife $43k no bonus. Both gigs don’t know about each other, feels like a double life, but also feel like it’s the only way to buy a home nowadays. Maybe its the guilt etching on me.
