Wanting to get involved as a teen
Hello - I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask about this, but I'm a highschool student who loves math and science. I'm part of a few organizations that require service hours. As a result, I have been tutoring peers in my favorite subjects and I find it very fun and fulfilling, and all of the teachers I have helped tutor for say that I am good at it too. I'm not sure if I want to tutor as a full time job at any point, but I would certainly like to get to a point where I can make some money from it.
So, my question is, where can I start? Should I stick to volunteering until I graduate? Should I obtain any training or qualifications other than grades and test scores? How much should I charge? What places should I meet up with students if I am tutoring in person outside of school? Should I sign up to tutor for an organization or find students myself?
I'm sorry for the vague, open ended question. I really don't know much about this.
