Speedcoach GPS question

Just got a new speedcoach GPS and I’ve been loving it. However, I tried updating the firmware on it with the iOS app and it basically puts me in the “checking for updates” purgatory where it’ll be checking for 20+ minutes.

Has anyone had this issue? I’m guessing my best option would be to reach out to NK?
