I have struggled with right abdominal pain for three years now: opposite belly button. It's temporarily relieved by food, antacid or ppi. For years the pain was mild and amplified significantly in 2024. It has spread to the left side below the rib and the opposite of belly button on the left.
I haven't had nausea, bloating, belching or diarrhea among other symptoms known for this. Digestion is normal for me. I have been given the typical antibiotics suspecting hpylori but there hasn't been any improvement despite careful diet and following the doctors advice to the letter. Three attempts so far with no success.
Doing an endoscopy is along the way but given the long queue, I will have to wait because private consultation is expensive here. As for stool or breath test I was told those aren't available for now. I wonder whether there are people with the same problem.
