Fresher -> Dropper

Hi everyone, I put a post here about 1.5 months ago seeking advice and I would like to thank everyone who responded to that because with their advice I was able to steeply increase my marks in Allen mock tests from around 250 marks to 450 marks. I know 450 is not much but I'm still proud of the improvement I was able to make.

In NEET I am scoring 540 marks, my rank would be 1 lakh, more or less.

For context, I was a very bright student, from 11th in Allen, always at 2nd or 3rd place in my batch, scoring 650+ in all part tests, when Nov 2025 rolled around my duties in my school's extracurricular activities overrode my discipline and I got invested in that, then with preboards, boards and practicals I kept making excuses not to study for NEET when all my peers were getting ahead of me.
Don't get me wrong, I do not regret participating in those activities and I'd do it again if I were given another chance but I definitely could've managed my time a lot better. I am a perfectionist by nature and by the time I realised how much syllabus was left of mine to revise (around mid-March), I could not procrastinate anymore (Procrastination is another bad chronic habit of mine that I'm trying to break, if I realise I can still achieve something by doing it last minute I go down that path which is NOT good for competitive as you need constant, boring revision cycles)

Even my sir from Allen called me ask about marks and he told me the marks I'm getting aren't a true reflection of my results and my ceiling is much higher than this, which was the reason for me considering a drop.

My parents, both established doctors themselves told me to join a private college (if I was getting KMC Manipal I might've joined but I definitely won't) but at the end of the day they understand my desire to prove myself one last time

Either way, I'm going on a trip in a few days for a week and I'll be joining my previous offline Allen branch, in their dropper batch that starts after results and depends on merit (NEET marks) and from there will start my dropper journey, I have a rough idea of what my drop year will look like (planning and following the plan is also something I lacked during my fresher prep years) but would highly appreciate any advice from anyone who's taken a drop before or is a multiple dropper! Thank you ♥️

Tl;dr- I gave my first attempt this year and am scoring around 540 marks, I live in Delhi so gmc is not possible and good pvts like KMC manipal arent either, I'll be joining offline coaching at the Allen i went to during 11th and 12th, looking for any piece of advice any dropper/multiple dropper is willing to share! :) Thank you
