Please help (Reschedule Oath Ceremony N-600)

Hi All,

Recently, one of my close family members (aunt) was just rushed to the hospital and we just found out she has passed away.

I have a U.S. Oath Ceremony for Certificate of Citizenship soon (in less than 29 days), but because of the situation I will not be able to attend. Is here anyway USCIS would reschedule that for me? And if so what’s the process?

Please also know that I am outside the U.S.

Thank you for any guidance or assistance you can provide me during this difficult time in our family.

What is going on with Sushila Karki?

I have been hearing so many things about her online especially her video criticizing Balen.

What happened? What is going on and what did Balen do that lead her to criticize him?

Also she was apparently an Amale? What? Is that true??????

If someone can help me understand I would really appreciate it. 😭😭😭

Do I have to surrender my U.S. Passport?

Hello All,

I have an Oath of Allegiance coming soon and on the Notice of Action, it says that I need to surrender any United States Travel Documents and I was wondering if this includes my passport since it’s a travel document issued by the United States.

My Passport is my only proof of citizenship and I don’t wanna give it up. Additionally I also have my visas and stamps from different countries on it. Is there anyway I can keep my passport? If so please share the information with me.

Thank you!

Hello All,

I have NEVER tried Korean food, but it looks so amazing and you know what? I wanna try it. However, I have no idea where the best spots are; you know the hidden gems and not those that claim to be “authentic” but actually feed you prepackaged sh!t. If you any authentic spots inside Kathmandu Valley please let me know!

Thank you 🙏

Yes, we may not be one of the world’s largest economies or have the world’s best education system, but we definitely have more freedoms and rights than they do. Also majority of our population is civilized and has civic sense so I guess it’s a plus.

So apparently Nepal Airlines published this image showcasing their route which didn’t sit right with Indians because it showed Jammu and Kashmir as part of China and Pakistan.

Now my question is: why are they (Indians) so sensitive over such a small issue? Different country different map. Just because India recognizes those territories as Indian doesn’t mean Nepal has too either.

If that was the case then, Nepal also recognizes/claims kalapani and Lipulekh as Nepali territory, but India constantly ignores Nepal’s sovereignty over these territories and includes it on their map. So why should we Nepali care about Indian sovereignty over Jammu and Kashmir, if India is doesn’t care about our country’s sovereignty over Kalapani and Lipulekh?

I think the Nepali government should recognize Pakistan and China’s sovereignty over Jammu and Kashmir unless India recognizes our sovereignty over Kalapani and Lipulekh and stops encroaching on our sovereign territory!!!

Can the U.S. government legally take away U.S. citizenship? I know the U.S. government can take away U.S. citizenship if it was obtained fraudulently,

but if obtained legally and without fraud can it still be taken away?

Ex: Someone who got their U.S. citizenship through one of their parents naturalizing as a U.S. citizen. Their citizenship was granted under the INA and not the 14th amendment.

Since it was not granted under the 14th amendment, is it still constitutionally protected?

Please explain if you can.

Thank you!
