I’m part of Samsung’s ambassador program, so I got early access to the Galaxy S26 — and I’ve been getting the same questions from friends and people online, so I figured I’d just answer them all here.

Do I actually like it?

Yeah, I do. It feels like one of those phones where nothing is trying too hard, everything just works smoothly. It’s fast, clean, and I haven’t had any random annoyances so far.

Is Privacy Display annoying to use?

This was one I was unsure about at first, but honestly it’s been pretty chill. You notice it a little when you’re off-angle, but straight-on it looks normal. I kind of like the added privacy when I’m out in public.

Is the zoom actually that good?

Not gonna lie — it’s kinda wild. I didn’t think I’d use it much, but I’ve already used it way more than expected. It’s actually useful, not just a gimmick.

How does it compare to my previous phone?

Biggest difference is just how refined everything feels. Better performance, camera feels more reliable, and the little features add up. It’s not one of those huge, overnight changes — it just feels better in all the small ways that actually matter.

Overall, it’s been a really easy phone to live with. Nothing feels complicated or forced, and that’s probably what I like most about it.
