• psychology is a growing field

• people under 35 hv been suffering from mental health conditions (recent study) so scope >>

• please please 🙏network even if you're an introvert (like me)

• u can't even imagine growing in this field w/o networking(personal+professional connections)

• connections give u referrals+opportunities

• don't run behind internships, learn from the best (through mentorships from good psychologists,attend their workshops,seminars) in the field qki quality > quantity :)

• don't waste your time in FOMO, sab kar rahe hain mai peeche na reh jaaun, arey sahi cheez karo dhund ke, zyda karne se nahi hota

• remember, practical experience is nothing without having command on theory, respect it equally

• if you're looking forward to practice, conduct as many pro bono sessions as you can, this will build expertise + experience

• vigorously chase clients to give pro bono therapy (all sm platforms/whatsApp groups) : totally depends upon how much you love your work :)

• dark side: I don't wanna say anything about clinical psychology, I'm done with it. yes it's my perspective :)

• when you build your pvt practice, it's hard to get clients on regular basis, this is TRUE, tho depends on where you live, tier 3 cities do need good psychologists
