Ozempic rant
I’m really pissed that Novo Nordisk and doctors don’t explain enough what happens when you stop taking Ozempic. They’re making billions of dollars and they’re really screwing with people. When you stop taking Ozempic, the food noise and food cravings come back. Even if you do your best to prepare yourself psychologically and emotionally, it’s extremely hard to keep the weight off. Your body just wants to fight to put the weight back on. Then there’s that it pretty much stops working after a year. I don’t know what percentage of people it’s working for after a year but Im not a lucky one. Doctors really need to do better and discuss these things with their patients. All they seem to care about is making money instead of actually doing the proper research on the drug and disclosing ALL the pros and cons. I feel like people are being duped. It definitely is a miracle drug. Helped me lose 75 pounds. Over the past year, however, I’ve been struggling and have gained back nearly 25 pounds, while still taking my shot every week.
Please feel free to comment if you are struggling as well or if you were struggling but found something else that is working for you. My insurance does not cover anything else but Ozempic so I can’t switch to one of the other drugs unless I pay oop, which is just way more than I want to spend.
