My dog recently broke her nail to the quick. It was caught in a drain we have outside with small holes for the rain. The vet has her bandaged and on anti inflammatories.

This happened 2 weeks ago. When it initially broke it was not to the quick. Brought her to the emergency vet after some monitoring for 2 days and it did not get better. The vet said her pain should be gone in 48 hours and it just got worse. Anyway i brought her back to the vet once i seen the nail had broken to the quick. Seems like she couldve bit it off or maybe it broke off. How long does it take to grow back?

Shes 7, weighs 8kg, shes a bichon terrier mix. In Ireland. (Bot says to add these points)
