The body of Tanveer Ahmad Chopan, a 18 yrs old boy from Mundkhal Pogal (Ramban), was finally recovered yesterday from Nallah Bishlari Magarkote on the 21st day of the search operation by QRT Ramsoo & Police.

On 12 April, Tanveer was legally bringing home 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙘𝙝 𝙘𝙤𝙬 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙬𝙤 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙠 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙖 𝙬𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩 𝙈𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚, 𝙅𝙖𝙢𝙢𝙪. 𝙋𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨. Near Makarkote on NH-44, so called Gow Rakshaks allegedly chased him, stopped his vehicle, dragged him out, and beat him. In fear for his life he jumped Or by Mob he got murdered....After 21 days they got their son back but only his body.

Some right wing accounts were celebrating his death openly on Social media and Irony is these same accounts are fighting for OUR Jammu separate demand.

I personally knew Tanveer. We grew up swimming together in the local nallah. He was a very innocent, soft-spoken boy, the kind other boys used to bully and tease. Never fought back, never harmed anyone. Just a normal kid trying to help his family. He was the only brother of four sisters.Today that family is shattered.

Should we blame religion for this? Where does this nafrat come from? Why do innocents keep paying with their lives -- whether it's Tanveer Chopan in 2026 or Sapna Devi of 2006 Kulhand Doda massacre? This Nafrat cycle has to stop. How long will we let communal poison destroy our own children?
