Flute tone gone
I have been working on my flute tone everyday and had a good run for about 3 weeks (longest so far). I had a good tone every day during those 3 weeks. Now my tone has been suddenly gone for 4 days.
As far as I can notice, I haven't changed anything now vs. in the 3 weeks. Headjoint is aligned the same, lip placement is the same, breath support is the same.
I was able to get a good tone after experimenting for 30 minutes but I can't attribute it to changing anything. It just happened to suddenly sound better.
I have no clue what is going on. That being said, the sudden loss of tone has happened to me before many times. When my tone improves for a few days or few weeks, it is also just as sudden. Some of my earlier posts here have also been this sort of problem. Not sure what to make of this. Any help is great.
