I drive about 6 hours on highways 4-5 times a month. I really would want something that can comfortably go 80 mph, for 6 hours, and be as comfortable for me as possible (I recognize cost is a factor here and am willing to temper my expectations because of that). I would prefer if mileage wasn’t horrible, but nothing will likely be better in that category than my current car.
I’m looking for something to replace my current car (2009 Honda Fit MT). I am hoping to keep the price under 10k (the cheaper the better).
I have been looking at Mercury Grand Marquis and other panther platforms, BMW X5 35d, Mercedes e350, Lexus 460 (these seem to be more expensive than the other options).
It would be awesome if it was manual, but I know that’s unlikely in this category.
