Any suggestions - is it worth to buy Max V2?

Currently I have neither of them and I'm wondering if it makes any sense to add 30 Euro to buy upgraded version.

Does the base version has enough effects or at least decent sound to use it? Or after buying base version I'll want to upgrade to Max as the base version won't have anything decent and still will be pushing me to buy new effects separately?

P. S. - I'm more of the "plug-and-play" person. I won't be sitting hours and configuring the soft - just quick configuration and play.

I'd like to hear opinion of those who already bought either base or Max V2 version and can tell me from the experience.
