Hi everyone,

I’m interested in getting started in data analytics and wanted some guidance on how to approach it effectively as a beginner.

There seem to be many tools and skills involved (Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, Python, ETL, etc.), and I’m a bit unsure about the right order to learn them and what to prioritize for entry-level roles.

I had a few questions:

- What is the most practical roadmap to become job-ready in data analytics?

- Which tools should I focus on first (Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, Alteryx, Python)?

- How important is learning tools like Alteryx compared to SQL/Python?

- What kind of projects should beginners build to stand out?

Any advice, resources, or personal experiences would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!
