There’s an interesting shift happening where AI is no longer just software, it’s starting to interact with the physical world. Robotic terminals with monitor screens like the CyboPal ONE are popping up, alongside workspace assistants like the Lenovo AI Workmate that actively 'watch' and react to your physical desk habits. I find myself worrying if these AI-supported products will eventually change how we act and react.
A system could theoretically notice patterns in how you work or game, perhaps adjusting your monitor's physical angle for better posture or scanning your handwritten notes to suggest schedule changes, and start adjusting things to help you perform better. While these AI tools suggest research-backed improvements to our lives, a malicious or easily manipulated physical system could theoretically just as easily influence our behavior or compromise our privacy.
But this opens up a bigger question.
Will AI be able to change our behavior via physical terminals?
