So far, I’ve always set up my cars by aligning the servo horn to 90 degrees using the subtrim on the transmitter, and then doing the fine adjustment in the setup system afterward.
Now I’ve read in a forum that you supposedly shouldn’t use that function, and that ideally the car should be adjusted directly via the steering links/turnbuckles instead. What do you think about that?
To me, that doesn’t make much sense, because in the neutral position the servo horn isn’t actually sitting at 90 degrees. It only reaches 90 degrees once I — or rather the car — is already steering slightly to one side.
From my understanding, wouldn’t that make the steering asymmetrical between left and right, or not?
(actual car: associated b7 driving in stock class✌)
While watching the word championship, I ask a question again, I was often asking to myself. Did Harimoto throw away some parts of his talent?
I mean.... If we look back a few years. Harimoto was 12, and played, and beat some of the best players in the world. For sure not, because of his better physics with 12. And also for sure not, because of his 'more training'. Other players in 'best age' had much more hours of training. So I really thought, this Guy will bring this sport to another level in a few years, and will dominate everybody for a longer time. But nothing of this happened. Of course, he is a good player. But if you are as good as him with only 12, shouldn't you be better, with same training and only better physics with 18/20/22 ?
