After today’s loss, I think I figured it out
As a 3.0, I’ve realized my problem is not technique. My problem is I try to play like Carlos Alcaraz for exactly 37 minutes and then my legs file a formal complaint.
I swing huge. I attack constantly. Then the heat hits, my feet stop moving, and suddenly I’m late on everything and wondering why I can’t find rhythm.
So I’ve decided something:
I’m becoming a strategic pusher.
Not the junk baller kind. The “I’ll make you suffer until I get a short ball, then I’ll use my technique to finish the point” kind.
Honestly, especially in heat, defense and consistency win way more matches at 3.0 than trying to redline offense every point.
