sc during exam

guys, I really need your help.
During my exam at around 3pm, I got my period unexpectedly and felt very unwell. I received permission from the invigilator to leave the exam room and apply for Special Consideration (SC). She also told me that she wasn’t sure whether my situation required a GP medical certificate, and suggested that I submit the SC application first, then only provide additional documents if they asked for them later.
The next day, I received a response asking me to submit a medical certificate within 24 hours of the exam, which I did.
However, on the third day, they replied saying that my medical certificate was not dated on the actual exam day.
I honestly don’t know what I should do now, because both the website the invigilator showed me and the information I checked again after going home clearly state:
Apply for Special Consideration within 3 working days of the assessment date and have supporting evidence dated within 24 hours of the assessment date.
There was no other information stating that the certificate specifically had to be dated on the same day as the exam.
How should I argue my case with the SC reviewer?
