Advice needed!!
Hello, I’m a 16 year old and I’m in high school and a sophomore, I’m maintained about a 3.0 gpa but am scared for the rest of high school. I want to go to college but don’t know what major, I want to be a ER Physician and am kind of scared, I want to go to college and get my bachelors degree, then go to med school, then residency. I’m just confused on what courses to take and if my gpa is high enough, Is there any way I can ensure I get into college and med school and stuff?? Is there a way to pretty much speed up the process? I’m aware in my 3rd and 4th year of med school I can be a med student in a ER. But with this I would be a ER physician when I’m like 30, if anyone has watched the Pitt, I want to be around the age of Dr. Whitaker, but I don’t know how to. Do I have to pick up my grades as best as I can? Is there anything I can apply for? My father is an Advanced EMT and my mother is a Nurse, they are trying to help but second opinions are helpful. I want to be in the medical field because of what my parents have taught me. Thanks much! Any advice will be helpful!
