Is this normal?
For context I went 4 years with the same prescription, and about a month ago I went in and got new glasses. With the new lenses I was convinced to get ones with two focal points, and I immediately knew something was wrong with them. My depth perception and ability to focus was gone, and even resulted in a lot of anxiety and panic attacks due to constant disassociation and almost forgetting what normal reality was. After about two weeks I switched back to normal lenses of the new prescription, but I’m still having a lot of issues. It’s been about 3 weeks since I switched to the new ones and my brain is constantly foggy and my it’s hard for me to focus and see things clearly at a distance.
I’m thinking it’s purely the fact that I went so long without switching, then switching again, and just the whole bifocal part. My anxiety has been getting the worst of me with this whole situation where I’m thinking it’s a permanent physiological problem caused by the constant anxiety and panic attacks (which I have never experienced before in my whole life). I’m honestly at a loss for what to do, hence why I’m here!
