So but of context, my friend just graduated a welding school ~1 month ago and just got his first welding job. He has his own desk/workstation at his place, and he mentioned only having one little decoration on his desk (mini Lowe’s bucket for pens/pencils).

What little doohickey would be a good gift for something he could keep at his desk? I know next to nothing about welding so I don’t want to get him something useless or will just be in his way. Budgets around $50 but open to something a little higher if it’s worth it

Also I know he’s on this subreddit so Jay if you end up seeing this post ignore it ..
