Prior Service making the jump
Good event gents.
I am a prior service Marine ( E4) and have decided to enlist in the Air Force Reserve.
My MOS(s) in the Marines were: Heavy Equipment Operator And held a billet for, but did not LAT move for: Network Admin
My current civilian job (10 years) Residential HVAC with some commercial work
I have two options with the reserve unit closest to me.
Either enter into a Civil Engineer position, and I have an offer for a Crew Chief position with a 10k bonus.
I will say that CE field seems to be more relevant to my civilian career so, knowledge wise that may be the path, but the bonus is tempting.
The specific CE position is 3E2x1 I believe,heavy equipment and I may be able to bypass the schoolhouse since house since I hold more than the basic licenses, having gone to that school for the Marines.
Hoping to cross or work with 3R1x1 for the hvac relevance
