Hi everyone!

I’m looking for fantasy or LitRPG stories that feel similar to Hunter x Hunter, specially early Hunter x Hunter, in one specific way:

• child or teenager MC
• lots of travel/adventure
• making friends along the way
• strong sense of a huge world to explore and gradually understand (systems, regions, creatures, factions, etc.)

Tone‑wise, I’m especially interested in that “childlike wonder / almost idyllic adventure” vibe. Dark or brutal elements are fine, but not required – the main thing is the feeling of discovery.

I’m open to web serials, web novels, light novels, and regular novels. Even manga and other media are fine. Also, no problem with ongoing series.

What would you recommend?
