Oil Companies have known for 60+ years that their product would cause global warming but they lied and denied and they paid to bring Rump into office since he said he’d destroy any environmental laws if there paid him enough $$. Now that two states, New York and Vermont have been able to pass make polluters pay Climate super fund bills which make the oil companies that caused climate change be responsible to pay for some of the climate costs and resilience against climate change costs to communities in those regions other states are trying the same! The oil companies have decided that their number one priority is to get Rump to pass an Immunity for big oil law! In 2025California tried to pass a similar Make Polluters pay Climate super fund bill last year but because of the “moderate” Democrats who are bought out by big oil it did not pass. In the meantime we need to call our senators and congresspersons and urge them to reject any such immunity for oil Bill!comes up. Contact your CA senators and your congressperson and let them know that they must OPPOSE any Immunity for Big Oil law!!!
